The elegant French chocolate pie recipe is easy to make. Though it still is so popular in many restaurants and on of my personal favorites. This chocolate pie recipe is basically a delicious chocolate mousse in a pie crust or Oreo pie crust. You’ll really like it! First whip the butter with a mixer until white and creamy. Then scrape down the sides of the bowl and add sugar and whip again until fluffy. Then again scrape down the bowl and add melted chocolate and whip until fluffy. Lots of scrapping going on here I know just keep doing it for a great final result. Again crape down the sides of the bowl and add one egg and whip until fluffy which usually takes around 3 minutes. then scape down the sides of the bowl and add the second egg and whip until fluffy again. Fold in the whipped cream topping or whipped cream. Fill baked pie crust, mounding toward the center. Grate chocolate on top of pie.
Now garnish with whipped topping and more grated or shaved chocolate. To bring butter to room temperature quickly, use a grater to shred it into your mixing bowl. Add a tablespoon of Dream whip to each cup of whipping cream. It will hold up better in your desserts. This is really a delicious recipe for chocolate lovers.
